Help us build Community - Volunteer with the Agricultural Society
There is a variety of opportunities to help us out with (for all ages!)

-Community programs (special events, bake sales, etc.)
-Children's programming at the fair
-Vendor registrations
-Fairgrounds maintenance
-clerking on judging day
-and many more!

We meet monthly, every 4th Tuesday @7pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, BR.453 King St. in Powassan.  Everyone welcome.

Although the fairs mandate has been to promote agricultural awareness within the community, the other non-agricultural events such as the demolition derby, live music shows, wildlife shows, science exhibits etc., provide a vast array of entertaining events for the whole family.

The fair offers a venue for those in the community to showcase their arts, crafts, livestock, produce, etc.  Our annual fair is supported through fundraising events, donations and partnerships from individuals and businesses throughout our community.

The  Agricultural Society owns the facilities known as the Fairgrounds which is home to the Powassan Fall Fair.

The Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies (OAAS)  is a unifying body for Agricultural Societies in Ontario which through communication and educational activities provides leadership to the entire agricultural industry.

We are partnered with the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 453, Powassan Lions, Knights of Columbus and our local food bank.
